Audi’s best selling A6 is a leader in is several worldwide markets. No doubt then as BMW and Mercedes ready their new 5 series and E-class respectively, Audi has gone ahead and face-lifted it’s A6. A new grille and new daytime running lamps apart, the new A6 also has a couple of good engines. The entry 2.7 TDI and 2.8 FSI will continue along with the punchy 3.0 TDI, but the biggest change is the 3.0 FSI This new supercharged engine replaces the 3.2 and produces nearly 290bhp. Performance is a given while economy is not too bad either. Interior space and ride quality is quite good and so is the level of kit. Expect this face lifted A6 to be available in the first few months 20009.
