The Arnage is a cathedral on wheels. The veritable Buckingham palace and the last of the great bastion of cars inspired by Gothic architecture. Some even call it the QE2 with afterburners one that has the aerodynamics of fort Knox. But you can’t argue with the 1950s derived 6.75 liter V8 that has powered many a Rolls-Royce and Bentley ever since. With 400bhp available as standard (some limited editions even produce 450!), its greatest asset is its torque. The entire 85.1kgm is enough to make matchsticks out of entire Black Forests, while the rest of it will make up the interior. Hand assembled by the finest craftsmen and the best hides available, the Arnage and the Azure are two of Bentley’s finest creations that will see the end of the road in 2009, when its replacement will make its first appearance.
