Okay, who needs a Swedish premium SUV when you have got the X5, ML, Q7, Cayenne, Touareg… you get the point? The XC90 still holds its own compared to the competition. Again, it borrows the same bunch of engines from the S80, including that rabid V8. That apart, the XC90 is quite loaded and comes with an attractive, of course. More than a proper SUV, the XC90 is like a hopped up estate with all-wheel drive. Now that translates into a car that’s at home in the city or on the highways rather than the outback. With 95 percent of the power going to the front wheels in normal conditions, the XC90 is more car-like in nature. And that attribute is reflected in its styling and size as well.

Anything else? The standard bunch of German SUVs.
