If India has been put on the global small car map, its tanks to this car. Built exclusively in India, the i10 is probably the best in its segment today. Hyundai have spared no effort in making it so by working on every element in this package. A reworked version of 1.1 liter with a little more power and torque now power the base versions, while Hyundai have added two more versions, the Sportz and Asta above the Magna. All these three variants are powered by the new 102-liter DOHC kappa engine that’s helped the i10 develop better midrange and top whack. There’s also an automatic variant now with a revised 4-speeder from the Santro that doesn’t sap much engine power either. All of this while delivering just about similar 1.1. Overall build quality is of a high order, while it’s a bit more comfy than the Santro. It’s dynamically superior too with neutral handling and a slightly less bouncy ride.
