The X-Trail is a capable diesel SUV that can do a bit of off-roading if push comes to shove. Unlike the CR-V that’s petrol sipping and hates getting its shoes dirty, the X-Trail is a willing machine that’s built with quality materials, trim and textures. The engine has pretty good punch and the gearing is well spaced out for both city and highway runs. It’s also a neat handler, capable of straightening corners with aplomb. With fit and finish of a high order, the X-Trail makes for a good buy even four years down the line.
