This is the Skoda’s cheapest car on sale in India. That should be reason enough to buy it, because the trappings of a Skoda are always dipped in quality, with the kind of solidity that is generally found in battle tanks. The Fabia has exactly all these traits. It’s a neat handling small car with goof grip and ride and all the makings of an ideal er, small car. These are tons of features, including airbags and ABS, sunroof, all power down and up windows, parking sensors... the works. It’s also spacious enough for four and their luggage. Engine choices include slightly anemic three cylinder petrol, relatively fast four cylinder petrol and a torquey three cylinder diesel. So what’ wrong with the Fabia? Well, it’s the price, which is why you don’t see many of them on the road, despite having been around for a year. Ignore that and it is probably the best big hatch in the country today.AUTODATA:
